The Braeport CentreThe Braeport Centre is run by The Dunblane Development Trust. Its location within 2 minutes walk of Dunblane Cathedral, its ample parking and three large halls make it a valuable community resource. For years it has been the regular meeting point for many groups and clubs including the Dunblane Pre-School Play Association (DPPA), Monument Dance, Taekwondo and Yoga as well as the Brownies/Guides, Allanwater Angling Association, the Local History and Civic Societies. More recently our regular groups include Active Stirling (classes for pre-school kids), Brainy Bairns, Twins and Multiple Births Group and Ramoyle Glass. Dunblane Development Trust has an objective of buying the Braeport Centre for the community and is in negotiation with the Council. As a fall back position in 2009 DDT registered a community interest in the Centre under the Land Reform ( Scotland ) Act 2003. As a result, the Trust has to be given an opportunity to buy the site if it were to be put on the market. The Centre has recently been refurbished and redecorated making it an ideal location for parties, meetings, functions and other events. For bookings and enquiries call Bill Stewart as indicated below. Address: Braeport, Dunblane FK15 0AT See DDT’s application at:- http://www.rcil.ros.gov.uk/rcil/ros/rcilcb/presentation//ui/pageflows/viewCountySummary.do
