Dunblane in Bloom 2006 Community Garden
The community garden has been in existence for a number of years but was left to decline. The fence was being systematically vandalised/demolished and eventually was reduced in height to no more than 2 feet.
At the beginning of this year Stirling Council gave £1,000 to each Community Council to be spent on any project within their community. The Dunblane Community council agreed to restore this fence and the end result is the metal railings you now see.
The plants in the garden are donations/unwanted herbaceous plants from the general public, a real Community Effort!
