Funding Satement

DDT is a charitable trust and has a constitution with aims and objective. In order to carry out these there is a need for funding.

Members joining pay a £5 fee, which in gratefully received, but does not even cover core expenses.

Core expenses include liabilities insurance for Board members, which is required by company law.

Any organisation such as ours needs simple resources such as letterheaded paper, which has to be designed and paid for and there is postal charges on top.

The majority of the effort for our activities comes from volunteers, from the Board and its members, but also from active local participants.

The long term success of the DDT rests in obtaining adequate funding for current and future projects, some of which carry significant cost ramifications, in tens of thousands of pounds. None of this funding will come from donations but from the acquisition of funding from numerous funding agencies.

Local events, which will foster continued local communication, with the added intention of raising revenue funding, will be initiated over the coming months.

The Dunblane web has been set up to provide information and support for locals and visitors alike.

We are always looking to update and add any relevant information that the Dunblane community would benefit from being included in this site.
