Dunblane Development Trust - DirectorsWHO IS ON THE BOARD? Interim Chair : Tim Hughes : Tim spent 20 years with the NHS and served for 6 years on a Hospital Trust management board. He is involved with the ‘Sustainable Dunblane’ initiative and serves as Deputy Chair of an Overseas Development NGO. Vice Chair : Bill Stewart : Bill has lived in Dunblane since 1981and joined DDT in 2005. He assisted in the negotiations with Stirling Council which resulted in DDT leasing the Braeport Centre. He has been heavily involved in running the Centre ever since. Secretary : Dougal Thornton : Dougal has lived in Dunblane since 1985. He designed the QV roundabout landscaping on behalf of the DDT. He currently runs his own landscape architecture consultancy, having previously worked for Stirling Council. Treasurer : Janice Stewart : Janice has lived in Dunblane for 37 years and worked in secondary education. She was Graeme High School ’s liaison with the consortium which built the new school as one of the first PFI initiatives in Scotland . Keir Bloomer : Keir has lived in Dunblane for the past 17 years. He was formerly Director of Education and Chief Executive of Clackmannanshire Council and is now an education consultant. Alan Booth : Alan works as an Environmental Consultant. He has been a Community Councillor for 10 years and is involved in the production of Dunblane Community News. Lawrie Dewar : Lawrie ran his own self-service grocery store and then became Chief Executive of the Scottish Grocers Federation Trade Association. He served on the Low Pay Commission and has been a Dunblane Community Councillor for 3 years. Malcolm Dougall : Malcolm moved to Dunblane in 1976. He spent the bulk of his career, both in Scotland and overseas, in the commercial management of construction projects. He joined DDT in May 2009 to act as Project Director of the High Street Site. Nora Gilfillan : Nora has lived in Dunblane for over 20 years. She has been involved with the Dunblane Centre since its inception and was its Project Co-ordinator during the planning & construction phases. She was joint owner of Dunblane Nursing Home. David Gill : David spent his working life in local authority planning and the development industry, mainly CALA Homes. He has lived in Dunblane for over 20 years and joined DDT in 2007 and, until recently, acted as the Trust’s Projects Director. Jessica Lindohf Jessica has lived with her family in Dunblane for the last 8 years. She is works for ‘Paths For All’. Her role is to work with partners to improve health through physical activity. She also works as an independent equality & diversity consultant. Steve Mason : Steve works in local government. He has been involved in the Holmehill group since its inception and in 2008 helped DDT to achieve registration with Scottish Government of its right to buy the Braeport Centre. John Seddon : John has been active in Dunblane public life since the formation of the Dunblane Civic Society. He was a senior Baillie on Dunblane Town Council, has been Chair of the Community Council and was a founder member of DDT. Morag Watson : Morag joined the Fling committee after moving to Dunblane and is a founder member of the Sustainable Dunblane group. She works for WWF as a Policy Officer, advising Government on sustainable development, education & behaviour change.
