Whats On in Dunblane

Craig Duncan and Friends – World Class Bluegrass music from Nashville, Tennessee

Tuesday 27th July at 8.00pm.The Victoria Halls, Dunblane is set to host a visit from one of Nashville’s great bluegrass bands, Craig Duncan and Friends.

This group from Tennessee delighted capacity audiences during their 2008 tour of Scotland. Their music brings together banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and bass, for an authentic sound of the South Eastern United States. The instrumental line-up is complemented by stunning harmony singing of traditional and sacred songs.

Bandleader Craig Duncan, a member of the North American Fiddler’s Hall of Fame and Who’s Who in Music & Musicians, has been the featured instrumentalist on more than 70 albums with sales in excess of $5 million. His music has been heard on television shows like Malcolm in the Middle and The Oprah Winfrey Show, as well as on A&E, Biography, BET, PBS, History and other cable networks.  Craig is known internationally as the author of instructional books for Mel Bay Publications.
